Easter Egg Hunt 2002

The Coloma-Lotus Chamber of Commerce held its third annual Coloma-Lotus Community Easter Egg Hunt on March 30, 2002. Around 100 children ages 0-10 combed the meadow off of Back Street in Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park looking for eggs stuffed with candy, toys and prize tickets. Below, event chair Candie Bliss and the Easter Ranger (Ken Simmons) explain the rules and explain how to recognize the prize eggs.

Thanks to all the volunteers who made this event successful: Candie Bliss, Sarah Canfield, Jane Phillips and daughters, Cindi Ehrgott, Michelle Sage, Mary Smith, Chris Taylor, Sean Conley-Widing and family, Michelle de Boer, Taylor Stevens and our Easter Bunny Beth Stevens, Sandy Morgan and the Junior Docents, Jan Murphy, Frank Bechtel and Dee Allen, Donna McMaster, Park Supt. Ken Simmons, Rangers Mark and Jerry. If we've missed anyone, please know your help was much appreciated and let us know so that we can update the list.
