Treasurer Report

Balance 11,902.89 at the end of October 2006.
Road Project how much must be contributed to road and other community projects.
Need to revisit this item.
Donna and the maintenance contract to be done by Donna and paid by Chamber $$

Jingle Bell Jubilee

Jubilee update from Mari Wells:
Xmas tree lighting 7-8pm
Chorale singers are good to go.
Jingle Bell Run permit from DOT (5K run)
Permit to parade pets in Henningsen Park (Noah will look into what's the process?)
Application to rent
What about county offered event insurance?
Walk/run need to be defined.
Dog clean up suggested at the event
***Side issue community clean up (clean up mitts for dog exits) Ask BLM regarding receptacles for clean up mitts.
Dog costume prize (Teal will provide prize)
Need a Santa (costume in Georgetown)
***Santa needed for Girard Winery
Next Tuesday Winery meeting for Jingle Bell Jubilee 6:30 call Mari to confirm.

Officer Elections

2007 Coloma Lotus Chamber still needs candidates and to vote in a new President.

New Business

Noah Rucker-Triplett

Acting River Recreation Supervisor Noah Rucker-Triplett spoke to us about the need for a River Management position looking for a Business individual.(a non outfitter business position) Names were mentioned but most had served or not always available to make RMAC meetings.

The Action Item is the Flood Plain Ordinance.
Meetings are Weds. 7:pm at 5122 Fire House Road, Lotus, Ca.
J.Tillman Sierra Disposal offered moving dumpsters in the river flood plain or creek locations out to higher ground
River Trust Funds are available to be discussed and not forgotten

Road improvement

Mari Wells has friends that will donate native plants for placement on Hwy 49 for a mention of their business along road.(Donation to be from Mahala Young)

2007 Budget

Call Laurel Bumb with the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce regarding Insurance

2007 Membership Drive

Increase membership fees?
Increase marketing. Increase charges for advertisings or the visitor marketing links? Raise the basic membership?

Membership Letter is due for the drive ASAP
John Tillman will put an email out about the membership drive and suggested
Incentives for the incoming president perhaps free membership? John and group are open to other ideas.
