About the Chamber of Commerce

I would like to apply for employment with the Chamber. Do you have any positions open?

Thank you for your interest, but at present we're an all-volunteer organization. We have no paid staff.

Where is your office located?

At present we have no staff, no phone, and no office location. See our contact page for information about contacting us electronically or via postal mail.

Membership

Whom do you accept as members? Do I need a sponsor?

As business members, we welcome all businesses physically located in the Coloma-Lotus area of El Dorado County, and outfitters with recreational permits for the South Fork of the American River. We also welcome businesses located outside the valley if they provide services to our community members and do not directly compete with Valley businesses. If you are not sure whether your business qualifies, please contact us.

To be eligible for an individual or family membership, all we ask is that you have an interest in the Coloma-Lotus area.

How can I join your group?

What is the deadline for membership applications?

We welcome new members year-round, but if you want to be included in the 2007 Coloma-Lotus Guide we need your application and payment by February 23, 2007. Distribution of the Guides will begin in early April and continue throughout the year.

The Guide sounds great! Can I purchase advertising in it?

We were hoping you would ask. Advertising sales are now open. Rates start at $175 for a business-card sized ad. Larger sizes are available. Discounts are available for "early birds" and Standard or Premium Chamber members. Please contact us for more information.

I'm getting a Premium membership. How do I get my logo to you, and what size and format do you need?

We need your logo, photograph, or other image in either JPEG or GIF format. Animated GIFs are not allowed. The maximum image size is 100 x 100 pixels, and the file size should not exceed 8k bytes. This sample logo illustrates the maximum dimension (100 pixels square) with a 2k file size.
